SERVICES WE OFFER

We offer showing, fitting, training (in hand only at this time), and boarding on ASPC shetlands and AMHR miniatures. We travel to several shows each year in many different states, including approved ASPC/AMHR shows, the Pinto Association World show, and open shows. Both of us show horses so we can handle horses in the same class. In 2011 and 2012 we attended shows in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Illinois, Nebraska, and Iowa. This included the Area 5 National show, The Pinto World Show, and the ASPC Shetland Congress. The ponies/horses we have shown have earned Congress and World titles, as well as breed association titles and points. We appreciate all of our clients for trusting us with their ponies and will do our best to accommodate any special requests. We do often run full page ads promoting our ponies and client ponies in national publications.

2013 fees

Fitting/Training
Fitting for showing in halter, and training for in hand events such as hunter, jumping, obstacle etc. We are always happy to help owners wanting to show their own animals.

Shetlands fitting/training (in hand) $275 per month
Miniatures fitting/training (in hand) $250 per month

Boarding

Pasture board (mares and geldings only) $60 per month
Stall board (no fitting, feeding and turnout only) $150 per month

Clipping

Body clipping ponies and miniatures $25 per horse

Show fees
A $25 per pony fee will apply for each show attended to cover the expense of grooming supplies and wear and tear on halters, harnesses and other supplies.

Farrier and vet fees will be billed at actual cost. Our farrier now charges $25 to trim ponies starting in 2013. We use Brian Lindstrom as our farrier, he is usually the official show farrier at the pony shows in our Area and has been the official farrier for Congress and Nationals.

Travel

We charge mileage at 30 cents per mile (15 cents for 2nd pony with same owner) and lodging (hotel or RV) will be split between all owners. Discounts are offered for multiple ponies and long distances. Owners are responsible for their own stall and entry fees, as well as coggins and health papers.
